How your items will arrive:
Many of the products we sell on this website are shipped k.d. or “knocked down”, which essentially means some assembly required before use. Products shipped k.d. include all necessary parts, hardware and assembly instructions. Setup and k.d. items will not include anchoring/installation hardware to attach items to your walls/floor – we strongly urge you to anchor these products per manufacturer’s recommendations. 

Method of shipping:
We will utilize UPS whenever possible, however, the vast majority of these products are way too big, heavy and bulky. Common carriers are used to deliver your order quickly from the closest distribution point, saving you extraneous freight costs.

Over the road common carriers are used for these deliveries —
you must be aware of the following with regard to common carrier shipments:

1. Delivery routes include only destinations within the United States (excluding Hawaii & Alaska, please call for custom freight quote). Orders cannot be shipped to a PO Box.

2. VERY IMPORTANT: The customer is responsible for removing the order from the truck. We will endeavor to have the carrier make a delivery appointment with the contact listed on the order, but is the customers’ responsibility to have sufficient manpower and/or apparatus as required. If necessary, lift gates and inside delivery are available at an additional charge and must be arranged prior to delivery

Freight policy & customer’s obligation:
UPON DELIVERY: Please inspect ALL items for damage and/or visual packaging problems PRIOR to signing any freight bills—if obvious or potential damage exists, the receiver MUST sign any freight paperwork with a description of the problem(s)...”packaging crushed”, “corners bent”, “1 item missing” etc. If you suspect internal/interior damage, please denote “subject to inspection” and you’ll have 24hrs to notify us of any damaged items. Our “no-hassle” freight damage policy means that if something arrives damaged and has been signed for as such, we will replace it immediately at absolutely no additional cost to you.

Warranty:
Magline handtrucks – (1) year limited warranty for defects in material and workmanship.
All other products – (Lyon) Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product when used in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and/or operating instructions. Manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace the product at it’s sole discretion. This warranty specifically excludes consequential, incidental or any other damages directly or indirectly resulting from failure of loss of use of Lyon products.

Returns:
All sales of custom quoted materials are final. “In-stock” purchases of items for sale directly from this website are returnable within 30 days from delivery. Contact us for instructions and return authorization number (product cannot be accepted without this number). Any product returned with a valid authorization number will be accepted for credit minus a 25% restocking fee and outbound freight charges. Products must be returned in it’s original condition and packaging with all parts present and intact.
